    About this item

    • No white sugar – Most candies contain 90% white sugar, it triggers the release of chemicals – opiods and dopamine – that activates the brain’s pleasure centre. Which makes it highly addictive. Mezmo is sweetened with fruit juice concentrate.
    • No artificial colours – Artificial colours are made from petroleum based ingredients, which are toxic in nature. They can cause hyperactivity, irritability, allergies and even cancer in the long run. Mezmo doesn’t use any artificial colours in its formulation.
    • No preservatives – We haven’t added any citric acid or chemicals to preserve our candies. Our formulation and choice of ingredients doesn’t require any preservatives to be added. Artificial preservatives may cause hypersensitivity, allergy, asthma, hyperactivity, neurological damage and cancer.
    • Vegan – Gelatin is made from decaying animal hides, boiled crushed bones, and the connective tissues of cattle and pigs. Animal bones, skins, and tissues are obtained from slaughter houses. Mezmo uses vegan sources such as – fruit based pectin and citrus peel powders for gelling.
    • Gluten Free – Most candy is made from glucose syrup that’s derived from wheat. Wheat contains gluten. More than 10% of all Indians are gluten intolerant. Symptoms of gluten sensitivity in this population can include digestive problems, headaches, rashes, and eczema-like skin symptoms, brain fog and fatigue
    • GMO Free - GMOs (genetically modified foods) are foods that have been genetically engineered in some way, usually in a laboratory. Non-GMOs are foods that haven’t gone through any sort of genetic modification. Here at Mezmo we haven’t used any ingredients which are GMO.
    • FOS Fructo oligo saccharides is one of the ingredients used in Mezmo– it is a prebiotic - It has a Prebiotic effect, it aids in good microflora growth. The gut, also known as the second brain, is home to 10 times the microbial cells than the whole body. Prebiotics act as food for the good bacteria in the gut and reduce the pathogenic or bad bacteria.
